Bill began work with Robb in XXXX. Bill was X years old and a natural artist. He was captivated by Robb’s overwhelming personality, and Robb recognized Bill’s potential. They also shared a love of HOT, hot sauce! So they began traveling together throughout the US. Bill read the map while Robb took the wrong turn... Robb filmed the passing scenery as Bill took the wheel.

At each of Robb’s many classes, Bill practiced the techniques himself and assisted the students. Soon Bill was creating his own pieces, and he continues to do so today. Bill has extended his interest in leather to three-dimensional and/or functional art. He taught himself book binding, has made leather shields, and continues to adapt Robb’s techniques to create new and interesting pieces.
